The 5th Floor (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates http://www.the5thfloor.ch (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).

11. Your Privacy Rights Under the California Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

CalOPPA is the first state law that requires commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The scope of the law extends well beyond California, requiring individuals or businesses in the United States (and potentially around the world) that operate websites that collect personal information from California consumers to post a prominent privacy policy on their website stating exactly what information is collected and with whom it is shared, and to comply with that privacy policy.

In accordance with CalOPPA, we agree to the following:

  • Users can visit our website anonymously;
  • Our Privacy Policy link contains the word “Privacy” and is easily found on the home page of our website
  • Users will be informed of any changes to the privacy policy on our privacy page
  • Users can change their personal information by emailing us at hello@the5thfloor.ch.

Our policy on “Do Not Track” signals:

We respect Do Not Track signals and do not track, set cookies or use advertising when a Do Not Track browser mechanism is enabled. Do Not Track is a setting you can set in your web browser to tell websites that you do not want to be tracked.

If you request this, we will delete the personal data we hold about you from our records from the date of your request and instruct all service providers to do the same. We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to use it for any other purpose.

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.

15. CI/CD Tools

We may use third-party Service Providers to automate the development process of our Service.
